Finn Balor, well known by his demon gimmick in WWE, recently returned from injury back to RAW. It was great to see him back from injury, and we hope he has a big impact on the main roster, like you would expect of him. Due to his return, we have decided to write an article on Finn Balor’s Net Worth, and delve into the man a little bit. We also recently did an article on Roman Reign’s Net Wealth, if you’re interested in reading about that. We’re thinking of making this a series.
Finn Balor was born as Fergal Devitt in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. He has stated that his inspirations and favourite wrestlers growing up were Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, and Mr. Perfect. Fergal first became involved with wrestling at the age of 18. He begun his training at NWA UK Hammerlock. Eventually leading him to debut in 2000, and win the NWA British Commonwealth Championship. Once Finn Balor graduated from his wrestling school, he became a big part of the independent wrestling circuit. Balor has spent his time wrestling all over the world, with time spent in Ireland, the UK, United States and a stint in Japan which saw his popularity soar and his eventual move to NXT and the WWE.
Balor was one of the founding members of one of the most popular factions of all time, The Bullet Club. We have seen teases of a Bullet Club equivalent coming to WWE, but nothing has been cemented as of yet. We can only assume that the WWE are keeping a “Bullet Club Reunion” in the pipe-line for the future.
In May of 2014, Finn Balor was signed to WWE, and he went straight to NXT where he became an instant hit. Finn was arguably one of the first big names to come from the independent circuit, and arrived just as NXT’s popularity began to significantly rise. Balor would eventually become an NXT Champion, and fight other big names outside of WWE, such as Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens.
In July of 2016, Finn made his debut on RAW as one of the picks in the draft. In his first ever night at RAW, he defeated Rusev, Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns to go on to face Seth Rollins at Summerslam for the Universal Title. During this match, Balor won, however, he also severely injured himself. This kept Balor out of wrestling until the RAW after Wrestlemania of 2017, where he finally made his in-ring return. Due to the injury, he obviously had to relinquish his Universal Title, despite only just winning it.
Outside of wrestling, Fergal Devitt is an avid football fan, and player. He is a Tottenham Hotspur supporter. In addition to this, he has a lego and comic book collection, as well as a black belt.
What is Finn Balor’s Net Worth?
So, our research has found that Finn Balor is worth roughly $1 million. Which, considering how young his WWE career is, this is quite a large sum. You have to bare in mind that wrestlers outside the WWE generally aren’t paid that much. Even once you get into the WWE, you do not earn much unless you’re high up on the card, and sell a lot of merchandise. In fact, if you’re not one of the “key players” in WWE, the majority of your income will likely come from merchandise sales. This is one of the reasons that Ryback was unhappy with the WWE.
