This article will include plentiful information about ‘the big dog’, Roman Reigns. Including information about Roman Reigns’ Net Worth in 2017!

About Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is now 31 years old, and is arguably at the highest point in his career as we now sit on the eve of Wrestlemania 33, where he will be facing off against The Undertaker. Probably his biggest opponent to date. There are many rumours swirling that he could go over The Dead Man in order to fuel a heel turn. It could be argued that Reigns already gets quite a bit of heat. But imagine the heat he would receive if he defeated The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. It would be the ultimate platform to project his heel turn into the future. If, and that is a big IF, this happens. Then it is likely that The Roman Empire will be the most hated heel in WWE. There is potential for him to be a great heel, as the WWE has very few legitimate heels. A lot of the company’s biggest heels are also partially faces as well, as they’re just too likeable (not that that’s a bad thing, but we lack legitimate heels).

As we know, due to the fact that we’ve had it stuffed down our throats for a while now, Roman Reigns is a part of the same family as The Rock. Born Leati Joseph “Joe” Anoa’i, he originates from Pensacola, Florida. He had a varied sports career before he ended up in the WWE.

There’s no doubt that Roman Reigns is an incredibly polarising figure. I’m not even sure you could describe it as polarising, due to the mass dislike for his character progression. However, I strongly believe that he actually has potential to be one of the companies biggest and baddest heels, if he is actually given the opportunity to shine on his own, and experiment with his character. He has shown in the past to be more than capable on the microphone when he’s not being fed crappy lines from backstage.

We will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow night at WrestleMania 33. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a heel turn.

Roman Reigns’ Net Worth

Roman Reigns’ Net Worth recently took a bit of an improvement due to an increased contract for 2017. In 2016, Roman’s contract was paying him approximately $455,000 per year, according to Forbes magazine. However, in 2017, his latest contract has him paid an impressive $524,000. It is likely that this will increase when he finally reaches the stages of having a long term with the heavyweight championship, which I think we all know is an inevitability at some stage. In addition to his yearly pay cheque, Roman received a winning bonus. This seems a bit strange in a sport which is entirely pre-determined. Therefore, your ‘win bonus’ is determined by how your story line pans out, as opposed to how well you perform as a wrestler. Currently, Roman’s win bonus clocks in at $151,833. Therefore, if Reign’s beats The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33, he could see a very sizeable income, along with the likely boost in shirt sales which he will see a percentage of.

In total, it is reported than Roman Reigns’ Net Worth clocks in at £3.3 Million!

Not bad Roman….not bad!
